Presentation of the programme

KEDGE Wine School offers two new specialisations in the 3rd year of the KEDGE Bachelor. Wine & Sustainability, offered in Bordeaux, and Wine Tourism & Tourism, offered on the Marseille and Toulon campuses. You can join these specialisations, either by coming from the second year of the Bachelor, or by holding a validated bac+2, after a selection on file and interview.

Wine & Sustainability - Bordeaux

Better understand climate change challenges: the impact and opportunities, the mitigation strategies and how to integrate sustainability, considering the social, economic, and environmental aspects, in wine business models.

At the end of the programme, students will be able to:

  • Understand how wine can be produced and how production techniques can be more sustainable
  • Analyse the impact of climate change on the wine industry and broadly speaking and evaluate the best adaptation/mitigation strategies.
  • Understand the diversity of wine labels/certifications promoting environmental-friendly approaches.
  • Understand the notion of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and how it can be implemented in the wine industry.
  • Understand how sustainable strategies can be promoted through an effective marketing strategy and wine tourism can contribute to such a strategy
  • Taste wine with an analytical approach

Wine Tourism & Tourism - Marseille/Toulon

  • Better understand wine tourism and tourism issues and opportunities
  • Analyse the strengths and weaknesses of the tourism offer both in Provence, France and internationally
  • Be able to develop tourism and wine tourism tools and strategies
  • Gain a finer vision of the wine tourism and tourism market in France and more specifically in Provence and Southern-Rhône
  • Be able to analyse the efficiency of marketing and sales tools dedicated to tourism and to wine estates and to their hospitality facilities
  • Be ready to respond to visitors and tourists expectations with new, innovative, wine tourism and tourism offers
  • Be able to organize gastronomic or wine events promoting the Provence region.
  • Better understand how wine can be produced and how production techniques can be promoted through wine tourism.

CAMPUSES

BORDEAUX
Bordeaux is close to the Atlantic coast, in the southwest of France. Located between sea, vineyards and mountains, it is France's top city in terms of quality of life. Bordeaux is also the French city with the strongest growth in executives in 10 years. Bordeaux campus was designed as a living space. Spread over 35,000 m2, it is located just 20 minutes from the city centre by tram, on the Talence university campus.


MARSEILLE
Located on South East of France, on the Mediterranean coast, Marseille is the perfect blend of big city atmosphere and fishingvillage sociability. With more sun and less bustle than most French cities, it is also one of the most attractive ones. The school has several establishments in Marseille : Luminy, Vaufrèges and La Joliette. Integrated within a fantastic natural environment, Luminy, the main campus, proves the most innovative facilities and teaching equipment stretching across 15,000 m², just 20 minutes from the city centre by bus.


TOULON
Toulon is a Mediterranean harbour city surrounded by beautiful beaches and Provence landscapes, and located just one hour from Marseille. The campus is in the heart of the city, in the “creativity and knowledge district.” The site is home to Toulon’s art and design school, the public media library, local government, a business incubator, a number of french-tech start-ups and 160 homes.
