Testimonials
The MSc has confronted us with international challenges that prepare us for tomorrow's work environment
"I joined the International Business MSc for its broad range of disciplines, allowing to understand the global operations of a company, and its geopolitics and international law focus, providing an understanding of the global context and setting in which companies operate. I was able to complete my Master's degree with an internship at the United Nations in New York, where I joined the NGO department team, in charge of coordinating the integration of non-governmental organisations into the Economic and Social Council of the UN. The scope of the programme allows students to grow into multi-skilled graduates while at the same time preserving the client-oriented mindset, highly sought after by recruiters in all types of organisations. The programme also trains qualified, solution-oriented managers. Finally, the International Business MSc has confronted us with international challenges that prepare us for tomorrow's work environment. This master's degree has allowed me to develop my skills in teamwork and multicultural cooperation, and has increased my awareness of international and complex issues and contexts."
It’s full of practical experiments, seminars, guest lectures and in the end industry visits
"KEDGE Business School in Marseille became my next study destination and the city became my next abode. New city, new education system was definitely a surprise initially for me as I spend all my previous years in my home country but this place and it’s people welcomed me with open hearts. I still remember my first day in France when I landed at the airport in Marseille provence and a team of students from my school came to pick me up. This support was extended to me for the entire year which in return is being offered by me to the future students. Education system is really challenging as it compels you to work in both groups & individually. It’s fully of practical experiments, seminars, guest lectures and in the end industry visits.
I met students from more than 10 nationalities in my class and professors from more than 30. I would be studying Marketing from a French professor but Finance from a Tunisian one. Operations was taught by somebody from Japan and let me assure you all of these elite professors are industry leaders and the knowledge they share with you is the real time one as they share their daily experiences with you in the class and not just something from the books which were written 30 years ago. Right after my ninth month during school, I got a job in Paris. I was a student of International Business majoring in International Marketing and today my job is exactly what I studied in school. I am working as a Country Manager to India for a french company based in Paris."
A real incubator for new ideas and a springboard for start ups
“Within the programme, the Global Business Plan (GBP) enabled me to achieve my ambition of setting up a company specialising in 3D software programmes. It is a real incubator for new ideas and a springboard for start ups.”
The programme educate students in a very creative way and encourage them to think out of the box
"As a person who has an engineering background, the overall experience I acquired while studying at the International Business programme was very unique and helpful for whom I want to be in my future career. What I found most rewarding was the quality of lecturers and the content of the courses. The professors of the programme educate students in a very creative way and encourage them to think out of the box to broaden their knowledge beyond their field of studies. Also, the programme has a strong international focus where students learn business principles relevant for a more global world. Having classmates of different cultures and professions, I grew as an individual, learning to interact and talk to people from different backgrounds."
The strength of this programme is its network
This MSc year was a rewarding experience after spending my first two years in the programme Grande École in the Junior-Entreprise Marketing Méditerranée. During the first 6 months of my studies, I was able to deepen the theoretical knowledge that I started to study during my gap year (6 months Auditing Major Accounts, 6 months in M & A in a pharmaceutical company). The opportunity to work with students who have had various professional experiences, participation in ESG conferences and the quality of the teaching staff quickly improve my profile. I finished my programme with an internship in ECM. To date, I use the know-how and skills I learned during the MSc at BRED Banque Populaire on a daily basis in the transfer-transmission business with SMEs. I am still in touch with the members of my class and it is always a pleasure to meet and share our experiences
because the strength of this program is its network.”
Practical applications and research tools
“This MSc has developed my knowledge of finance theory with practical applications and research tools. The facilities and equipment used on the programme are of the highest standard, giving me access to the most innovative tools available. This includes a dedicated Reuters trading room facility and a range of databases. I have developed my knowledge and understanding of corporate finance, financial markets and how they impact on decision-making finance. The programme also contains a strong quantitative content with practical applications. As part of the programme, I had also the opportunity to complete the AMF Certification (French Financial Authority) – an industry-recognized professional qualification.”
Technical skills
“At the end of a university course (bac+5) I was looking for additional training, provided by external speakers and in English, to better understand the expectations of companies. After two internships lasting 6 months in structured finance and merger acquisition, I joined Crédit Agricole Régions Investissement as a private equity analyst. This MSc has perfectly met my expectations, bringing me the technical skills necessary to access a first position in Corporate Finance.”
The opportunity to deepen my theoretical knowledge
Having graduating already with a Master in business law from the University of Strasbourg, adding the KEDGE MSc to my education gave me the opportunity to deepen my theoretical knowledge thanks to the diversity and innovation offered during the programme and to the quality of the speakers. Thank to the MSc I performed better on financial issues in my first job in the market activities of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale. After my success at the three levels of the CFA Programme, I had the opportunity to join the Crédit Mutuel Federative Bank in order to support and analyse external growth projects within the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale.
Multicultural exchanges with students from all backgrounds
“One of the strengths of this MSc is to access lectures given by industry professionals and to directly discuss with them. Our employability is reinforced. Another asset of the program is rich multicultural exchange with students from all backgrounds. After my internship at Crédit Mutuel CIC BECM, I had the chance to be offered a permanent contract. Being graduated from a MSc is an advantage for my future career within the group thanks to its recognition and international scale.”
A very rewarding experience
I did the MSc in Wine & Hospitality Management and it was a very rewarding experience both on a human and academic level. The course was very comprehensive and covered many aspects of the wine and hospitality industry, from wine production to retailing. Throughout the course, I was able to develop a solid foundation of skills in the wine industry, project management and marketing/communication. As a business developer at Domaine de Piéblanc, these skills have enabled me to acquire a certain credibility and to be a force of proposal for the domain. I highly recommend this course to all those who wish to enter this exciting sector of activity.
