The opportunity to deepen my theoretical knowledge
Having graduating already with a Master in business law from the University of Strasbourg, adding the KEDGE MSc to my education gave me the opportunity to deepen my theoretical knowledge thanks to the diversity and innovation offered during the programme and to the quality of the speakers. Thank to the MSc I performed better on financial issues in my first job in the market activities of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale. After my success at the three levels of the CFA Programme, I had the opportunity to join the Crédit Mutuel Federative Bank in order to support and analyse external growth projects within the Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale.
Technical skills
“At the end of a university course (bac+5) I was looking for additional training, provided by external speakers
and in English, to better understand the expectations of companies. After two internships lasting 6 months
in structured finance and merger acquisition, I joined Crédit Agricole Régions Investissement as a private
equity analyst. This MSc has perfectly met my expectations, bringing me the technical skills necessary
to access a first position in Corporate Finance.”
Practical applications and research tools
“This MSc has developed my knowledge of finance theory with practical applications and research tools. The facilities and equipment used on the programme are of the highest standard, giving me access to the most innovative tools available. This includes a dedicated Reuters trading room facility and a range of databases. I have developed my knowledge and understanding of corporate finance, financial markets and how they impact on decision-making finance. The programme also contains a strong quantitative content with practical applications. As part of the programme, I had also the opportunity to complete the AMF Certification (French Financial Authority) – an industry-recognized professional qualification.”
The strength of this programme is its network
This MSc year was a rewarding experience after spending my first two years in the programme Grande École in the Junior-Entreprise Marketing Méditerranée. During the first 6 months of my studies, I was able to deepen the theoretical knowledge that I started to study during my gap year (6 months Auditing Major Accounts, 6 months in M & A in a pharmaceutical company). The opportunity to work with students who have had various professional experiences, participation in ESG conferences and the quality of the teaching staff quickly improve my profile. I finished my programme with an internship in ECM. To date, I use the know-how and skills I learned during the MSc at BRED Banque Populaire on a daily basis in the transfer-transmission business with SMEs. I am still in touch with the members of my class and it is always a pleasure to meet and share our experiences
because the strength of this program is its network.”
Drive the change of tomorrow
Organisations are experiencing new sustainability challenges that need to be addressed. Until recently, these challenges could be solved by relying on organisational skills, but they are now getting increasingly complex and require agility and leadership skills, which is precisely what this MSc prepares you for as it seeks to drive the change of tomorrow.
A graduate degree in management in a way that would support my engineering background
“As an engineering undergraduate from India, I always wanted to pursue a graduate degree in management in a way that would support my engineering background. When I got to Toulon, I was not very fluent in French. But the International Relations team here helped me out right from the start in everything from welcome services to making sure my stay here in Toulon was comfortable. The professors here are simply the best I’ve ever had. We had frequent get-togethers with fellow French students in and around the campus – which was the best part of our intercultural integration for students from a variety of countries and cultures. Apart from the curriculum and the ultra-perfect facilities, the city itself is beautiful and unique. I am proud to be a student at KEDGE Business School Toulon.”
The learning experience is different
"When I came to France, I was not really sure what to expect and how post-grad will be like abroad. But it was the right decision to choose KEDGE Business School, especially Toulon campus as it was located in a nice city in the south of France with lots of beaches nearby, perfect weather (not too cold during winter), and rich in culture and naval history. During free time, it is always a good idea to explore the city. Toulon is packed with lots of activities and events happening in every corner that will suit everyone’s taste, and what makes it better is that most of these are free!
At Kedge BS, the learning experience is different. It's a combination of theoretical and hands-on learning based on actual working experiences and presented in different teaching styles using high-tech facilities. They even have a program that focuses on the wellness of the students’ well-being. Everything went smoothly, and adapting to a new environment was not that difficult thanks to the people who helped me go through it. I am very fortunate for having Kedge BS professors and staff, including the French students who were always approachable and helpful through every step of the way. They would try to speak English whenever they can which made communication a lot easier. Overall, this study-abroad experience has been great and I am looking forward to learning the French language and not having to use translation apps in the future."
A perfect springboard for penetrating the wine industry
«Coming from a family of winegrowers and wine lovers, the MVS has been a perfect springboard for penetrating the wine industry. Combined to a work-study contract at the cooperative winery Monsegur, courses and training were essential to acquire and strengthen the basic knowledge required to work and evolve in the wine industry .»
Researchers work closely with students all over the academic year
"The collaboration starts in the classroom where we introduce the main methods used in research in wine management and their results. It continues in the context of the Master thesis with the strong desire to involve our students in our ongoing research projects. This ranges from the design of the project to, in some cases, the publication of the results in scientific journals. Together with our partners of the Alliance for Research on Wine & Hospitality Management, we invite our best students to present their reseach during the annual conference.”
Collaboration between two renowned schools
"The collaboration of EHL, the best hospitality school in the world, and Kedge, a leader in the wine & spirits business, will provide a remarkable experience for students, faculty and industry participants. The Master program strikes a balance between classes with renowned academics and professionals and top notch digital courses focusing on current issues. This program promises to be truly unique and to offer significant added-value for students, which should establish it as the reference in the industry.”
