«Coming from a family of winegrowers and wine lovers, the MVS has been a perfect springboard for penetrating the wine industry. Combined to a work-study contract at the cooperative winery Monsegur, courses and training were essential to acquire and strengthen the basic knowledge required to work and evolve in the wine industry .»
"The Wine and Spirits industry is all about adapting the latest marketing and business tools to the art of conviviality. The MSc at KEDGE gave me much more than the tools I needed to pursue a career in the field that I love, it gave a me group of friends i can rely on throughout my career, which is exactly what i wanted out of this program"
I have been a competitive athlete for most of my life and even after some injuries forced me to stop, my plans to remain in the sport industry didn’t change. KEDGE ISEM offered me the opportunity to learn from professors that are actual sport industry professional and to combine theoretical and practical learning thanks to the many projects that students are asked to work on throughout the master. Studying in France, and in Marseille specifically, allowed me to experience a unique and multicultural environment. Additionally, Marseille offers a multitude of sport viewing opportunities for someone that is passionate about sport. Currently I’m the Brand Project Manager for AS Monaco in Ligue 1. As part of my role, I work on all those project that involve the club’s brand both from a management side and from a strategic development side.
"The collaboration starts in the classroom where we introduce the main methods used in research in wine management and their results. It continues in the context of the Master thesis with the strong desire to involve our students in our ongoing research projects. This ranges from the design of the project to, in some cases, the publication of the results in scientific journals. Together with our partners of the Alliance for Research on Wine & Hospitality Management, we invite our best students to present their reseach during the annual conference.”
"The collaboration of EHL, the best hospitality school in the world, and Kedge, a leader in the wine & spirits business, will provide a remarkable experience for students, faculty and industry participants. The Master program strikes a balance between classes with renowned academics and professionals and top notch digital courses focusing on current issues. This program promises to be truly unique and to offer significant added-value for students, which should establish it as the reference in the industry.”
“What struck me more was the diversity of students in term of origin and background and the networking you get by liaising with ex alumni, mentors of the program. They were all very happy to receive you and share their experiences when you are student and even afterwards.”
“The overall pedagogy approach is very much in tune with the key issues in the sport industry today. Students develop a wide range of transferable skills. They also learn how to position themselves favourably and efficiently with prospective employers. The close links maintained by the programme manager with key market players are also central to this professional approach. ”
I chose the MSc Marketing programme because I wanted a vocational training with a very handson approach of the professional and business world. I was interested in events management so the association with ANAé was definitely an added value. Many of the lectures were given by practising professionals in the field of events management, which enabled me to develop a clear vision of business realities and display a very professional approach as soon as I started working.
I was a seafarer on board container vessels for 3 years and I wanted to get a master’s degree in maritime and logistics field. I found Kedge Business School with its well-known International Trade & Logistics program and it was one of my target to get a master’s degree abroad and working in a maritime or logistics company office and settle down after challenging sea experience.
The curriculum of the program was very well organized and it allowed me to develop my skills not only in maritime but also in logistics and to understand the onshore side of the maritime business. During the program I learned a lot from important professors mostly coming from industry and I learned from my classmates coming from different backgrounds and countries through group studies.
Today, I work in a French Oil & Gas Performance Management Company in an international environment and I am using my sea experience and the management capabilities that I gained at Kedge Business School which is very important for me.
“The history of the programme shows that our School did not choose to go for a Sport specialisation out of opportunism, but out of conviction. In over 20 years of existence, it attracted many internationally recognised sport industry insiders as guest-lecturers. Concerning the “business management” side of the curriculum, the steady progression of our School in the rankings proves the quality and dedication of our faculty.”
