"After obtaining the Master of Science in International Trade and Logistics, I was able to join the Amazon Logistics group as a logistics team leader. This program was a springboard and allowed me to quickly find a job in line with my career goals. I chose to complete this well-known course in order to develop my managerial skills, but also to develop a certain level of versatility allowing me to increase my employability in three different sectors: trade, logistics and transport. The diversity of the courses taught and the professionalism of the various participants are all elements that only enhance this program, combining theoretical learning with practical application through the different case studies that we cover during the year. Finally, the fact that the international aspect lies at the heart of the program and that training can be done on a work-study basis are significant assets”
This dual degree program giving access to an MSc in Maritime Management and a Master II level diploma in International Trade & Logistics has been a strong pillar of my development in commerce in general and specifically transportation, logistics, supply chain, production, but also of my understanding of governing macro-economical and geopolitical dynamics.
Having already invested myself in the maritime industry prior to joining the program and upon graduation, I joined CMA CGM’s freshly created Project Cargo Division specialized in containerized breakbulk shipping, meaning the transportation of oversized and overweight commodities (heavy machinery, yachts, catamarans, trains...) aboard containerships.
Once my first assignement finished, my next mission took me to Shanghai, China where I kept on working for CMA CGM’s Project Cargo Division and focused on regional business development in charge of increasing the company’s reach in the Indian Sub-Continent and the Middle East Gulf trades.
I strongly recommend this program to all level professionals working in international trade or prospective students seeking a diverse learning experience from field experts coming from horizons such as shipping and logistics, banking, trading, and top-level academics.
I went to a top ranked Grandes Ecole in south of France to pursue my Masters in International Business. Kedge Business School in Marseille became my next study destination and the city became my next abode. New city, new education system was definitely a surprise initially for me as I spend all my previous years in my home country but this place and it’s people welcomed me with open hearts.
I still remember my first day in France when I landed at the airport in Marseille provence and a team of students from my school came to pick me up. This support was extended to me for the entire year which in return is being offered by me to the future students.
Education system is really challenging as it compels you to work in both groups & individually. It’s fully of practical experiments, seminars, guest lectures and in the end industry visits.
I met students from more than 10 nationalities in my class and professors from more than 30. I would be studying Marketing from a French professor but Finance from a Tunisian one. Operations was taught by somebody from Japan and let me assure you all of these elite professors are industry leaders and the knowledge they share with you is the real time one as they share their daily experiences with you in the class and not just something from the books which were written 30 years ago.
Right after my ninth month during school, I got a job in Paris. Yes, you read it right, in nine months. Infact I am still a student as this job is a mandatory part of my diploma which I would get next year. Even I was taken by surprise that how different things looked when I was in India compared to where I am today. I was a student of International Business majoring in International Marketing and today my job is exactly what I studied at the school. I am working as a Country Manager to India for a french company based in Paris.
The MSc in International Trade & Logistics offered me all the necessary skills to reach my professional goal: developing our French SMEs internationally.
Holder of a DUT [2-year university diploma] in Marketing Techniques, an L3 degree in Applied Foreign Languages and an M1 degree in International Trade and Emerging Countries, I chose to complete this M2 degree in a work-study program to take a first step towards the professional world and give me every opportunity on the job market.
During the work-study program set up with KEDGE, I held the position of Export Sales Assistant in a Danish agri-food group specialising in fish food. My role was the administrative management, transportation and payments of all orders coming from Africa.
Today Export Manager at Gourdon, a Landes company with 60 employees specialising in the manufacture of trailers and tanks for agricultural, public works and environmental applications, I participate in the promotion of our brand on the international scene on a daily basis: preparation of all the necessary tools (brochures and technical manuals, etc.), meetings with partners (freight forwarders, banks, consultants, etc.) and business development (international trade shows, trips abroad, etc.). Today we work in Northern and Eastern Europe, as well as in North and Sub-Saharan Africa.
This training allowed me to acquire and consolidate skills in business development and marketing/transport and logistics/contract and transport law/banking, finance and risk management – all in an international context.
“ISLI is a crossroads of ideas and exchanges on the Supply Chain. Its annual forum enables companies to define new strategic directions of the Supply Chain.”
“The ISLI was the perfect occasion to open my mind to a new world of business opportunities, from a strategic, innovative and multicultural perspective. Moreover, it not only gave me the chance to understand the Supply Chain in theory, but I was able to apply my knowledge in research and in a practical experience, those I believe are the bases to become the Supply Chain expert I dream to be.”
I was amazed by the sheer quality of the teaching, and by how many professional opportunities KEDGE opened up for me.

“Being part of one of the best companies in the Supply Chain world I am constantly challenged with difficult problems to be solved. The proximity and velocity to respond to Customer demand, meeting promises while ensuring the minimal potential investment is just one of them. The distribution of the volume across countries and warehouses, ensuring the right transportation method to the customer is just another. The Supply Chain world can be challenging, but also exciting and ISLI gave me all the tools I need to become successful.”
